At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs! We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar. Airports are a drag. The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination. And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares. So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be. That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.

But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought. What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does? We think it can be described as…

“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”

It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite. Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.

With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.

The UK is a very popular and common vacation destination amongst many different kinds of tourists. There are plenty of travelers that return to the UK for their second or third vacation, and often more. Many tourists visit the UK for business, but the majority of tourists are there for pleasure. Sightseeing, fine dining, and history are all common and widespread through out the United Kingdom, and travelers fly from all over the world to see it first hand.

So if you’re flying into the UK, your first obstacle will be to decide which airport to fly into. London may be your first reaction, but there are plenty of international airports, and minor airports, that can accommodate your air travel. For example, flights to Belfast are common, and Northern Ireland is a great UK destination. There is also Wales and Scotland with their own respective airports that welcome large airliners as well as budget flights. The UK really does accommodate to any traveler and budget, which makes for a variety of options when choosing your arrival and departure terminals.

If you are not tied down to a specific airport due to hotel reservation or preference, then try out some of the other great cities and capitals in the UK, for a different perspective on these amazing islands.

It was founded in 1838 and is known to be the oldest zoo in the Netherlands. You will find it in the center of the city close to an area called Zuidoostbeemster. Maybe you are staying in one of the many Amsterdam hotels that are in this center of the city.
The Hotel Barbacan Amsterdam is a two star hotel located near the zoo in a residential area with the same facilities of a three star, just with no elevator. All the rooms have a TV, safe and a telephone. Another hotel that is near the zoo is the Hotel Palntage Amsterdam, another two star hotel. This is a cozy and small hotel with accommodations for those on a budget.
Once you have your hotel, you can visit the zoo and enjoy its natural beauty and charming atmosphere. There are hundreds of animals on exhibit and the zoo is always a good place for families on holiday. There is also a planetarium, plants and museums near by that everyone will admire. The zoo is always a relaxing place for the whole family and spending the day there is a nice break from the site seeing.

The beaches of Barcelona have golden sand and are just ten minutes for the city center. Barceloneta Beach is the closest to the center of the city and so it can be crowded in the summer time. There are many Barcelona hotels in this area too so if you want to be near the beach but know that this is prime water front and will cost you a premium rate.
In this area you can windsurf, kite surf and take a break to eat and drink at one of the many beach huts. Icaria Beach is another options but again the cost to stay near the beach is high. An apartment rental is another options.
There is one hotel that is close to this beach with moderate prices and that is the Hotel Front Maritim. For those looking for a nudist beach, the Mar Bella Beach is for you. This is an unofficial nude beach as you will find many there who are not nude. They have a Spanish law that states as long as you cause no disturbance, it is OK to be nude anywhere. If you are looking for an official nude beach, there is not one in Spain.

With the vast City of London amassing a wealth of tourist attractions, just where do you begin with taking in England’s capital? Our top five guide will show you where to start.

1) ‘Go to a Museum’

Whatever your area of interest, London has a museum that’s made for you, whether it’s science, history, or animals. The Natural History Museum is a good all rounder, guaranteed to provide something for everyone. From Darwin and Dinosaurs, to mammals and minerals, you can be sure the museum’s many exhibitions will both amaze and educate for hours on end.

2) ‘See the sights’.

Home of the British Government, a walk by Westminster provides many an iconic view of Britain. Take a trip to the houses of Parliament, peer through the gates at Downing Street, or simply stare in awe at Westminster abbey. Finally, recently noted as one of the most popular landmarks of Britain, a picture with London’s most famous resident, Big Ben, is a must for any holiday album. Also good for checking the time.

3) ‘Spend, spend, spend’.

Whether it’s a souvenir or a little self indulgence you’re after, no trip to London is complete without something to show for it. Who among us can resist a Union Jack tea towel, London bus money box, or Buckingham Palace keyring? For the more select shopper ‘Selfridges’ and ‘Harrods’ offer mind blowing merchandise set in splendid surrounds.

4) ‘Study the scenery’

After shopping at Selfridges and schooling in one of London’s many museums, it’s time to truly be at one with nature and escape to one it’s many Green spaces. With some 350 acres, you’re bound to find a little space of your own in Hyde park. Still can’t sit still? Head to Speaker’s Corner to debate, discuss and dispute topics from religion and politics to the origin of the universe.

5) ‘See a West End show’

The heart of British theatre undoubtedly lies in London’s West end, and with a host of shows such as ‘The Lion King’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Les Miserables’, it’s not hard to see why. The perfect end to any visit, book in advance for the best seats at the best price, and with a company like West End theatre breaks get your accommodation included in the package. With prices like these, you’re guaranteed to sleep easy.

The city has become a top destination for world travelers who wish to visit the beating heart of Europe and to taste the liquid gold so lovingly brewed here.

Prague is one of the most exciting cities in Europe to visit and boasts numerous attractions all of which are located in the magical city center, attractions including the world famous Astronomical Clock, the Gothic and legendary Charles Bridge, the massive Prague Castle complex, which spans over a thousand years of history, Wenceslas Square-the stage for Czech revolutions and much more.

To make your stay in Prague truly memorable you can stay in one of the many intimate, charming and luxurious Prague boutique hotels, which are centrally located in Prague’s Old Town or Lesser Town, and are situated in meticulously renovated historic buildings.
The bustling Old Town district of Prague is home to famous Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock, winding labyrinth like lanes lined with souvenir shops, an open-air market and the gorgeous Municipal House, one of the best examples of Art Nouveau architecture in the World. The Lesser Town district of Prague is more residential and boasts numerous embassies housed in renovated Baroque palaces, lush hidden courtyards, numerous galleries, the Baroque St. Nicolas Cathedral and the ancient Prague Castle; the Gothic Charles Bridge connects the two together.
